Bake That! Online edition
To celebrate World Baking Day on Sunday 17 May, we’re holding our Bake That! for Nugent event but with a twist – this time we’re doing it digitally!
Due to these uncertain times, and to respect the Government’s guidelines on social distancing, we can’t ask people to gather and have their own bake sales. So, we want you to send us photos of your baked creations.
Maybe you want to send us a snap of your sumptuous choux buns?
Or perhaps you’re proud of your pavlova?
Maybe you’re cracking at cookies?
The theme is rainbows! Here are some suggestions of what you could make rainbow themed:
cake pops, cookies, biscuits, cupcakes, fudge, meringues, cookies, doughnuts, cheesecake, macaroons, fairy cakes, brownie bars, rainbow chocolate covered strawberries and rainbow cakes.
Whatever your show stopper is, send us an image of your creations and our judging panel will whittle them down to a final four, which will be put to the public vote on our Facebook page (http://facebook.com/wearenugent).
The deadline for your delicious delicacies is Sunday 17 May at 23.59.
The poll will go live on Tuesday 19 May for Semi-final 1. Semi-final 2 will be on Wednesday 20 May with the final taking place on Thursday 21 May.
The winner will be officially announced on Friday 22 May and will be contacted by a member of our fundraising team.
How to take part:
- Bake your rainbow-themed creation.
- Download Nugent Bake That! Branded cake flag or image. (bottom of page)
- Take a photo of your baked goods showing the outside, inside and including Nugent Bake That! cake flag/image.
- Share on Facebook tagging in ‘Nugent‘ (@wearenugent) using #BakeThat or email it to fundraising@wearenugent.org
That’s it. We hope you enjoy getting creative in the kitchen!
Best of luck! Ready, steady, bake!
