Many congratulations to the Marydale Class of 2020!

Despite the global pandemic and the tough challenges our young people regularly face, we are incredibly proud to celebrate their recent exam successes within education here at Marydale Lodge.

Our current and most recent cohorts have made some amazing academic achievements including the following:

Seven students have achieved Entry Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Functional Skills English, with three going on to achieve the full Level 1 qualification and one student achieving her Level 2 despite only being in Year 9!

The same seven students have also achieved their Entry Levels 1 and 2 in Functional Skills Maths, with six also progressing to Entry Level 3. Two of these students have progressed to achieving full Level 1 qualifications. These results are testament to the hard work and determination of our young people throughout these challenging times, and we are incredibly grateful for the support and care that their teachers and care staff continue to provide. We look forward to fully celebrating the Class of 2020 during next month’s prom, and will be sure to share details of the event with you.

Well done to all!
