What is a Charity Shop Donation Drop Point?

Nugent Allerton Road Charirty shop

Charity Shop Donation Drop Points are a simple yet effective way to help us raise donations and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. We’re encouraging businesses, offices, and schools to set up drop points on their premises where individuals can conveniently donate items they no longer need. These items will be then sold in our charity shop, and the funds raised will go towards supporting our mission of caring for those who require our help.

Items we are looking for:

  • Clothing
  • Shoes
  • Accessories
  • Handbags
  • Books
  • Jigsaws
  • Bric-a-brac

Items we cannot accept:

  • Toys including cuddly toys
  • Furniture
  • Electrical items

We will work closely with you to organise a collection schedule that is suitable for you, ensuring a seamless and convenient process for gathering the donations from your designated donation drop point.

Our Charity Shop

Our Nugent Allerton Road Charity Shop is located at 73 Allerton Road, L18 2DA and is open Monday to Saturday. Our charity shop serves as a platform for giving back to the community.

Why set up a Donation Drop Point?

Many individuals and families have faced challenging financial situations due to the cost-of-living crisis. As a result, the demand for assistance from charitable organisations has significantly increased. By establishing a donation drop point, you can be an active part of the solution and make a positive impact on your community.

Here’s why setting up a drop point is a fantastic idea:

  • Supporting those in need: Your organisation can play a crucial role in supporting our charity’s mission to care for, educate and protect the vulnerable in our communities. By providing a convenient way for people to donate their unwanted items, you are helping us raise funds to support those in need.
  • Fostering a sense of community: Encouraging colleagues to donate together fosters a sense of community in your workplace or school. It unites your organisation towards a common goal of giving back and making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Promoting sustainability: Donation drop points promote recycling and sustainability. Items that might otherwise go to waste are given a new lease on life by being sold in our charity shop.

How Your Donations Help

Your generous donations have a significant impact in helping us make a difference in the following areas:

  • Crisis Fund: A portion of the funds raised from the charity shop goes directly to our Crisis Fund. This fund provides essential items like school uniforms, beds, and washing machines to families in desperate need of help during difficult times.
  • Caring for those in need: The funds also support our ongoing efforts to care for individuals facing various challenges, such as financial hardships, health and well-being issues, and other vulnerable situations.

Join us in making a difference!

Together, we can create a positive impact and bring hope to those who need it most. By setting up a donation drop point in your business, office, or school, you become a vital part of our mission to care for those in need.
