Jo Henney appointed Nugent Interim CEO
Today we announce that Nugent CEO, Normandie Wragg, has handed over the reins to Jo Henney, following a successful transfer process.
Jo Henney has been appointed CEO (interim) whilst Trustees continue the process of recruiting to the permanent position. In her previous role as Deputy Chief Executive and Chief Governance officer, Jo Henney has been accountable for leading and managing the critical functions of the organisation and instrumental in the turn-around of the charity. Jo, is now responsible for the overall stewardship of Nugent, having been delegated authority by Trustees in accordance with our Charitable Trust Deed.
Normandie announced her departure in December of last year, citing plans to move back to Canada so she could be closer to family. Normandie will continue to support Jo until she leaves Nugent at the end March 2023.
Jo said “I was delighted and honoured to be asked to act as Interim Chief Executive Officer by the Trustees, following long-serving Chief Executive Officer Normandie Wragg’s decision to stepdown. The charity finds itself on a solid footing following Normandie’s tenure. I am excited to progress Nugent’s growth plan, continue the development of our EDI agenda, and work with our talented and dedicated staff and volunteers to care for the most vulnerable in our communities.”
Nugent Trustees expect to announce their new permanent CEO before the end of the year.
