Nugent Appoints Jo Henney as New CEO
Nugent Trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Henney as our new permanent Chief Executive Officer. As a dynamic, values driven leader, with an excellent track record, Jo will continue to bring her wealth of experience and knowledge to Nugent. She has exceptional strategic capabilities, proven operational effectiveness and the board look forward to working with her.
Jo has been accountable for leading and managing critical functions since she joined Nugent in 2019. In January 2023, Jo took over the reins as interim CEO, working with the outgoing CEO to ensure a smooth handover. Following an extensive search and recruitment process, Jo was identified as the outstanding candidate, and offered the role in May.
We are pleased that Jo has accepted the role and look forward to the development and progress of Nugent’s strategic plan. Jo will continue to develop our work on the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion strategic framework and Environmental, Social and Governance Strategy. Most importantly, Jo will be leading the work of our talented and dedicated colleagues and volunteers to support the work we do.
