Training Success at Epsom Street
Epsom Street Community Centre Volunteer Amanda Brodsom has achieved Level 4 in Sport Massage.
Amanda, a volunteer for over a year, has been studying alongside her job working with vulnerable young people in Knowsley and doing creative work with young people at the centre.
The level 4 certificate creates opportunities for a career in Sports Massage within the leisure and gym sector and is part of Epsom Streets support work aimed at helping local people achieve beyond there ambitions.
Amanda said, ‘the support Mandi and Donna at the Epsie have provided has been so good, and really has given me the confidence to achieve this. I’m really excited about my future now and having a career in something I love.’
Amanda isn’t alone, across the past year 4 Epsom Street volunteers have achieved various certificates in vocational training , some of whcih have led to employment.
