Nugent Toy Appeal 2025 – Bringing Joy to Hundreds of Children

Each year Nugent receives donations of toys to distribute to children and families who might struggle to give or receive toys at Christmas.

This year we received hundreds of toys from our supporters who attend the Schools Advent Service at the Metropolitan Cathedral and companies and businesses. Over the past week the Our Future Now team along with volunteers from our corporate partners and local universities, have been distributing the toys to those who request them. The last of the toys have now left Edge Lane offices on their way to new homes.

This year, we have distributed almost 800 toys across 26 schools. In addition, we have also been able to hand out toys to families living in hostels and those at risk of homelessness through partnerships we have formed with charities who support them. We have also donated toys to local organisations who support families escaping domestic violence and those experiencing financial hardship. As a result, over 400 children will receive presents via Nugent this year.
