Supporting children and young people through education
With a well-established reputation as a provider of choice in specialist education and residential care services, Nugent works closely with commissioners to guarantee a student focused approach, with feedback of the individual’s progression throughout each stage of their time with us.
Nugent House School
Nugent House School is a long standing Section 41 approved independent special school (ISS) which supports mixed gender pupils with education and health care plans with a designated primary need of social emotional and mental (SEMH) needs.
Our pupils often have additional needs such as SEN diagnoses including ASD, communication and interaction difficulties, sensory processing, ADHD and speech and language difficulties. The school team is skilled in offering trauma-informed, highly personalised approaches to education for children and young people who have previously found education challenging.
The school has facilities to support a broad and balanced curriculum, with dedicated teaching spaces for sport, science, design technology, food technology, art and horticulture.
