Recommend a Friend

Have you got a friend or a family member who shares our culture and values and would be a great fit for Nugent? Refer them to us through the ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme and if the referral is successful you’ll be awarded £250!

How does it work?

If you are in a permanent or fixed term contract and your recommended friend/family member is appointed to a permanent/fixed term vacancy or role and successfully completes 12 months of employment, you will then be rewarded £250.

How to recommend a friend?

For existing vacancies, applications should be completed in the normal way. If there isn’t a current vacancy but you feel that your friend/family member would make a good fit, please speak to the HR team to explore further options.

You will then need to fill in sections 1 and 2 of the Recommend a Friend Form and submit this to the HR team via HR@wearenugent.org. You can download the form below:

Once the candidate has been successfully placed, HR will get in touch with you and your referred friend/family member to fill in relevant forms.

After 12 months of continuous employment of the referred individual, HR will process the reward of £250.

Terms of the scheme

  • To make a referral you must be a current employee of Nugent. This scheme does not apply for relief/bank roles.
  • You must complete and submit the Refer a Friend Scheme Application Form prior to a formal employment offer. Forms received after the formal offer may not be valid.
  • A payment of £250 will be paid to the referer at the end of the 12th month of the new employee’s employment.
  • Please note that payments are non-consolidated and will not count towards pension contributions, holiday pay or enhancements. Any payment made will be paid through Nugent’s payroll and subject to appropriate deductions in the normal way.
  • The scheme is not applicable to Executive and Senior Leaders.
