Nugent Wadi Rum 100km and Summit Challenge
Following the huge success of our last overseas fundraising challenges, the Arctic Challenge and the Sahara Trek, we’re inviting you to be part of the next unforgettable trip. This time, we’re heading to the other-worldly landscapes of the Wadi Rum in Jordan.
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Jordan’s Wadi Rum desert, where Hollywood blockbusters like The Martian, Dune, and Star Wars were filmed. Known as the “Valley of the Moon,” it’s a place of towering sandstone cliffs, ancient petroglyphs, and breathtaking night skies.
You and a team of other adventurous Nugent supporters will take on an 8-day 100km trek of stunning desert landscapes, camping under canvas beneath a breathtaking blanket of stars each night. Not only this, but the trek includes climbing Jordan’s highest peak, Umm Ad Dami (1,854m). At the end of the trek you will visit and explore Petra, undoubtedly one of the world’s most distinctive archaeological sites, and a must-see when in Jordan!

Is this trek suitable for me?
It is important that you read the itinerary carefully, and take account of the rating we have given it.

This will be a much better experience if you are fit and prepared. You should feel comfortable walking 6-8 hours per day.
