At Nugent, we’re calling on students graduating this year or moving out for summer to give back before they go.
Before you pack up and head home, take a look through your cupboards.
Across student accommodation, it’s common to find unopened food and everyday essentials that are no longer needed – items such as pasta, rice, tins, cereal, and toiletries. Instead of letting these go to waste, you can donate them to Nugent’s Pantry and help support people and families across our community.
Why your donation matters
Every day, Nugent works with individuals and families facing real adversity. Small, practical donations like these help us provide essential support when it’s needed most. A few items left behind in a student kitchen can go on to make a meaningful difference to someone else.
What you can donate
We welcome any unopened, non-perishable items, including:
- Tinned goods
- Pasta, rice and dry foods
- Breakfast cereals
- Toiletries and hygiene products
How to donate
If you’re moving out of halls or student accommodation this summer, please consider donating before you leave. Items can be dropped off at your nearest collection point.
Donation locations
Nugent donation bins will be available at the following locations until the end of June 2026:
- Liverpool Hope University – Gateway Building
- Liverpool Hope University – Halls of Residence (Aigburth Park accommodation)
