Having a governance system assists us in being able to demonstrate that we meet regulatory requirements, including:
- The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014
- The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
- The Care Standards Act 2000
- Regulator Inspection Frameworks
The principles underlying governance are based on managing the organisation with integrity, being transparent, making all the necessary disclosures and complying with relevant legislation. Good governance facilitates efficient and effective management that translates into value and excellent customer service for our stakeholders.
Our Governance team
Nugent has an established internal Governance Team that conduct audits of services, maintain compliance checks, monitor performance trends, and analyse accident and incident data.
